    Join the Welcome Home Flotilla!

    The Ocean Gybe Expedition is in the final stage of circumnavigating the planet all the way back to the West Coast of Canada, where the idea was first dreamed. The crew has covered thousands of km’s, seen hundreds of beaches and have quite a story to tell about the ocean’s sad state.

    The next stage in their mission is to tell these stories and bring about change.

    Position Report: 3 September 2010

    What an incredible morning; sunshine glinting off the calm waters of Sooke Inner Harbour. After beating into a stiff South Easterly most of yesterday, it was a pleasure to pull into these flat waters, and also to find Hugh’s parents, the Pattersons, anchored within and waiting to serve us a curry dinner with champagne! The party did not stop there, in another hour the s/V Centurion with Andy and Nancy Paine and our good friend Lawrence arrived to complete the 3 boat raft!

    While Bryson sits atop a Tongan shipwreck, reflecting upon the winds, the other guys skurf circles around him and Hugh then shows us a different view of the spinnaker on the sail to Minerva Reef.
