What started as a cool idea for a documentary about three surfers on a boat sailing around the world quickly turned into a journey of transformation for both myself as a filmmaker as well as for Ryan, Bryson and Hugh, respectively.
A lot happens in three years on a boat. There were hundreds of hours of video footage to prove it. Tide Lines, the OceanGybe feature documentary, has been a triumph of hard work and dedication from countless individuals throughout the film’s near 7-year production timeline. It was a truly collaborative project and reflects the work of many talented people. My hope is that “Tide Lines” and the OceanGybe mission will inspire you as it does me.
Tide Lines has been a self-funded project form the beginning. Without the support of so many generous individuals and organizations we would not of been able to make this film.
